Poll: How many Majors will Tiger finish with?

OK - well, barring unforseen circumstances (car accident, cancer, bolt of lightning) I think we all agree that the Nicklaus record of 18 professional majors is going to be blown into oblivion by Eldrick...

So the question becomes - by the time he retires - how many will El Tigre have?

Vote Please

I say 27....

It's hard to say. I certainly think he will break Jack's record, barring unforeseen tragedy. Or injuries even. I get a feeling that if he breaks Jack's mark soon, he may well decide to push himself hard to win 30 majors in his career, and make a statement that will be almost impossible for anyone to surpass.

I could see that happening, he has more will and determination than almost any athlete EVER. There are only a few people i would put in his class, Jordan is the only one I can think of at the moment.... i got my money on 21-22 majors. Id say he will win maybe 7-8 Masters, and will WIN the British every year it is at ST. Andrews....so who knows

Then he will be elected President. After his two terms, he will retire to become the Chairman at Augusta National.

If he stays healthy and into his intimidation game, he can win every single one from now until he's 45. He's just that damn good. Which is bloody scary.

Can you imagine how boring golf would be with zero competition?

I don't knock Tiger for it, I commend him. But it gets boring when the guy that MIGHT beat him out needs to play his absolute best while Tiger plays his worst.

He's the best the world has ever seen.

Hopefully I dont come accross as a raging homo here, but I actually feel priviliged to be at the age I am and being able to see Tiger live. This man is the greatest athlete of all time imo, and I look forward to many more years of watching him dominate.

Yep, you putt from the rough.

As much as I don't like him personally, he's the greatest talent to come since Micheal Jordon and Bo Jackson.

We're witnessing something that will never be done again in our lifetimes.

The hell of it is - he can win in so many different ways...the awesome chip in at #16 at Augusta....these freakish shots out of deep rough that take huge upper body strength...obviously, when he hits it well from the tee - he just overpowers the ball.

And then yesterday....dropping in 30-40 footers right and left? Said after the tourney was over he "just wanted to hit it on the center of the green and felt like I could drain just about anything..."

And then he does it.

Damnest thing I have ever seen in sports.

I swear deep down inside I think his multiracial background goes to his advantage. He has that razor-sharp, highly disciplined Asian mind...and the rest of him is a combination of black, white and American Indian.

Its like some superhuman combination of genes came together in one phenomenal package. He got the gentle wisdom, common sense and athletic skills from his dad, a natural athlete and this super Asian mind from his mother....

Ain't nothing like it anywhere...
