Anyone on here, from Tampa, Florida?

My family have booked to go on holiday in Easter 2007, to Tampa Bay for 10 days, then Key West for 5 days. In Tampa, we will be staying at the Westin Innisbrook Golf Resort, which has four golf courses. The two Highland course, the Championship Copperhead course and one other. My dad and I are planning to have at least one round on the Copperhead course, and quite a few on the others. If there's anyone from this area, do you know anything about the courses? Are they any good? Which would you recommend etc.? Also, is there much in the way of golf shopping in this area, because we will probably be taking at least one empty suitcase, hoping to buy loads of new stuff.

Any information will be appreciated... Also, if there's anyone from this area, i'm really not sure, but I might be able to get away from the family for a game, if you fancy it...

I'm assuming that was some sort of joke. I don't have a clue what Dateline NBC is though, so I don't get it. Care to explain?

I live in Tampa year-round. I know a bit about the courses in the area.

Do you want to know the "must-plays" (really only one that isn't private), the good courses that cost a few $$$, or the courses that I consider the best value? I've played them all. The Innisbrook courses are pretty nice. The only course I would tell you to DEFINITELY play is World Woods. You should plan to get there early and play 36-holes. There are two courses there, and they are both fine. It's about a 45-minute drive north from Palm Harbor, where Innisbrook is.

The Tampa area has a couple of Edwin Watts', a new Golfsmith opening soon (they will probably have the best simulator), and a place inside a flea-market that has a bunch of decent stuff selling for cheap.
