Trying to break 100.

So i have been playing for around 1-2 years but the last 2 months i have really been trying hard. got the equipment i wanted and have been at the range and reading/watching golf channel. no lessons... dont have the cash for it right now so im doing it myself.

I have got really close.. 103,104 ect.. but now its time to break it!
one of my problems was really the Over the top swing that im working on. seen some good tips about it on the golf channel. also my chipping around the green has got me alot of strokes but i have went to a park and chipped for an hour or so and watched some good lessons on it. so wish me luck!

Get lessons. Call the YMCA, or look around for group lessons. Get lessons. Once you learn bad habits, it's very hard to unlearn them. Trust me, I've been there and am still doing it. Trying to unlearn the bad habits I picked up by trying to "teach myself" when I was young.

Get lessons.

Good luck!

A few months back I was stuck on 106; no matter what I did that was what I shot. It really can get in your head.

Now, a good day is when I break 90. And it's really not that hard. The things that have helped me:
1- make a 80% swing, especially with the driver
2- with all clubs except the putter, stay behind the ball
3- with the putter, keep my head still (I consciously don't look at the ball rolling until 2 seconds after I stroke it)
