Anyone on here play Los Angeles area?

Just curious if there is anyone in my neck of the woods. Los Angeles, CA Long Beach? South Bay? Anyone?

Im trying to find some regulars that I can go play a round with on the weekends. I noticed a lot of this forum is spread throughout the world, hadn't seen anyone on the forum that plays around here.

Im also trying to find a home course. There are a lot of Par 3 courses around here that have boring ranges hitting of mats and whatnot. I want to find full real courses. Im sure there are quite a few, I just need to find time to check them out.

I'm a bit of a hack and I live in Studio City, my buddy, who's a bit of a better player, lives in Santa Monica. We try to get out every weekend. There are actually quite a few courses in L.A.; Rancho, Encino/Balboa, Woodley Lake, Griffith Park, are a few off the top of my head... You'd probaly like Rancho...
A bit of a drive for you though... We've been meeting some cool people...

I'm out in the IE, Riverside to be more exact. Alot of courses out here but i havent had a chance to try out most of them.

I drive down from San Francisco every couple months and always make time to play DeBelle in Burbank. Sometimes I go down with a friend and play at Fullerton and Anaheim. I love LA.

I go out to Rancho Cucamonga for a weekend in Dec to visit a pal of mine. We usually play 5 rounds in 3 days LOL.

Lots of great courses out there for ~50-70 bucks

I used to play Brookside back in high school since that was our home course.

Now that I'm out in orange county I mainly play Costa Mesa or Mile Square.

If I play with my dad I'll play San Dimas, Mountain Meadows, Marshall Canyon.

Yup missed this the first time around. I live in Santa Ana, I pretty much stick to the local coarses here in Orange County like Mile Square in Fountain Valley, Meadowlark in Huntington Beach, They Navy Base in Cypress or out in Riverside like Green River or El Prado since the value is better. I usually stick to the coarses that around 50 bucks to stay in my budget. The closest Ive been out your way was El Dorado in Long Beach but were pretty lucky out here in Sunny California we have so many options.
