THAT is chunky rain. There is also fluffy rain and hard rain pellets (they hurt).
You should come up north and try it sometime.

I've played on Christmas day. It was +3C (~38*F) and bloody stupid. There wasn't much snow, just enought to highlight the shadows. Pretty impressive for a dude from Saskatchewan.

Winter sucks.

38*?

That's not so bad. Almost all the local courses have free golf on holidays, so I'm not one to miss out.

For a minute there I thought R35 said -35* F. I would expect that sooner then 35* F in Canada

Wow, that stinks. I'm going out to play tomorrow. Should be a little cool at around 60 but I like it. Only problem is all the leaves and pine needles. Hit one offline and the edges are just leaves everywhere, hard to find the ball. Also the pine needles get to be a nuisance on some of the greens. It'll be slowing down soon though, I'll just spend more time at the range and hit the course when I can. Scores will not be accepted towards caps pretty soon too so that makes it all practice. I already have plenty of balls saved up for practice rounds.
