There is no set degree on a sand wedge all different people have different degrees depeneding on what they like.
They usually range form 53-57*

Really, any "wedge" that is used out of the sand is a "sand wedge".

More often than not tho, they are anywhere between a PW and a lobe wedge, which most people consider 49-57*. Most wedges in sets are 48*, with a few exceptions like the Big Bertha irons with their loft methods, ect.

I consider a sand wedge anything around 56*. Lob is 60* or better. And a utility wedge is anything from the PW to the 56* sand wedge, a little of both worlds.

Wow what happened to that Titleist Wedge.

The lob wedge is in my dads bag. He is on a golf vacation in florida. it is a 60 degree cleveland. The Titleist wedge is an old oil can that lost its rust. It has started to re-rust. Really should get a new one but I am poor and I have had it for a long time.

I like the nice size of the pictures. Large, cool.
