Galdurn ethics!!!

I found a Vokey 60* today on the 9th hole. Although I've never considered Titleist, I've been pondering getting a 60* wedge but my dadgum good side got in the way and I turned it in to the pro shop. Sometimes I just hate my right shoulder(the shoulder my angel sits on), but I sure would want someone else to do the same for me, and Lord knows I'm absent minded enough to leave a $100 wedge on the course.

good job

I remember when I left a 7 iron at the course, and some guy took it. A 7 iron!! It cost me 120 bucks to get a new one, it sucked.

When you are ever thinking about taking a club, think about wha twould happen if you lost one.

Was the honorable thing to do Clint. Now your "angel" won't have to make you feel guilty every time you would have whipped that club out.

It sucks to lose a club, I have found a few wedges and always stick them in the back till I am done with the round but usually the person who lost it catches up with me before I get to the pro shop and i just give it back to thm

Ive found my fair share of clubs, found the owner or given to the shop every club but one. The one we kept was a LH 60* lw we gave to my dad, mizzy wedge. Reason we kept it was because where we found it, im sure the guy who "forgot" it, knew wat happend to it (it was wrapped around a tree on the 18th hole...)

YOu know what would have happened if you kept it, the golf gods would have frowned on you for the next 100 holes ( Each dollar that a club/ball etc costs is equal to one hole) and you would have played awful ( I mean AWFUL ) for that 100 holes...its karma

Yeah, I never actually considered keeping it. That evil side of me kept trying to interfere though...,"what's the difference in picking up a ball that someone else bought and picking up a club?" You know, stuff like that.

I'd be heartbroken if I knew someone else took one of my clubs and I just couldn't sleep right knowing I took someone else's.

I once found a wedge on a teebox. This black guy came riding up and offered to play closest to the hole for a Ranier. He won...

Found a digital camera on a tee box down in the Ring of Kerry last Sept .. it was an SLR camera with a mutha of a telefoto lens .. big and in yer face .. knew it had to belong to an American group .. returned it safely to the owner .. well in fairness I saw this golf buggy coming from about 6 fairways away with a panicked look on their face wasn't hard to guess..

I found a mobile phone on our 1st fairway. Every time we passed a group in the opposite direction i asked if they had lost there phone. The bloke who's phone it was said no he hadn't lost his phone, then checked his bag and it turned out he had. I asked him what his background picture was before giving it him back though (pics of his dogs). He didn't even offer to buy me a drink when I saw him in the club house afterwards. Wish i would have rang some porn lines to bump his bill up!!!

I've found lots of stuff, clubs, glasses, wallets. Almost always I find the owner, and if I don't I give it to the Pro Shop.

Once I found a beautiful Steelers headcover, took every ounce of my will to turn it in.

Played on a public course here years ago Deer Park, it's backed onto by a housing estate, kids were forever robbing the golf balls and trying to sell them back to ya !!! (you get the piture)... anyways carved one into the trees and went highstepping it into them for a look... out of the corner of my eye a young couple were rearranging themselves furiously (coitus interuptus methinks) ... anyway I'm sure she lost her virginity and no man is gonna give her that back !!!

Wanted to bury it, huh?

About 5 years ago I lost a 7I. Not positive but I really think this older gentleman decided he needed it worse than I did. Anyway, it never showed up at the clubhouse. This past summer, I visisted this course again and was rummaging through the barrel of clubs that had found, never claimed, and were being re-sold. The pro asked if I was looking for something special so I explained what had happened before. He just told me to find whatever I liked and take it. I got lucky found a near match to the club that had been lost.

You did the right thing, I would have done the same.

Yesterday, I played 18 holes with my Dad and his friend.
At 13, my dad realized that he left his PW behind. I drove back and came upon a 4some and asked if they picked up a PW.

Turns out they picked up 2, one of em was my dad's PW.
