I'm pretty familiar with certain Gibson guitars fetching very high prices as investment pieces, but as far as golf items, i have no idea.. what do you make of this:

I think the "zero bids" pretty much says it all. Anybody that would pay that much money for a putter is nuts. Of course, some people think that anyone who pays $200 for a putter is nuts. I guess that makes me nuts. I'm just not THAT nuts.

This thread came into my mind for no particular reason ... I knew there was a link to ebay, so I went to see if any aficionado (idiot) had stumped up for it ... well I give the guy due credit, the item is on it's 3rd relist and he's still holding out for 13,500 for openers ..

What a dumb buck I mean I understand memoribila and collectables and a golf course such as Spyglass or something buying it but cmon now does he think the public will purchase it? Now What I did see was the collectors editiing Mizuno blades for 5k at the PGA Superstore in Atlanta (buckhead) now that was a beautiful set of equipment.

surprised someone asked a question about it (see bottom of listing).. but you get to save on the $50 shipping IF you buy it now @ 20k
