name for a dog

Somebody throw out some names for possible names for a dog - most likely will be a female.

Nothing 'standard' like Lady or Sissy, etc.

The nerdier the better... and maybe even golf related.

How about Tour Issue R7 Superquad w/ Ozik Code 8? No?

Vokey strikes me as a good name for a dog (Then it'll always come back to you!)

I think good dog name have a "grrr" in it. The dog seems to respond better and they are easy to yell.
Names like tugger, scrubber, ranger, bugger, etc.

Sure it is, and what proof do we have otherwise?

I say...PING! If that's not a name that attracts girly golfers, I don't know what it is.

Seriously, how about Mizzy? Not ragging Mizuno at all, but it is a cool sounding name.

Confuse all other dogs and name her "Come" or "Here" or "Fetch". I've always thought that would be good. I've also decided to give my dog a completely normal name, like Ron, then if I'm in the park or on my doorstep I can look like I've lost my mind by yelling Ron out the front door!

Wait until you get the dog. The dogs personality should help you name it. We have a female cat named Kameko. She is a siamese cat, a frost point, and loves to run away from everything at high rates of speed. I forget which language we translated it from, but "Kameko" = "White Lightning" in that language (I want to say it was Tai, since Siam is modern day Tailand but I can not remember which language we searched.)
