Giving up on the straightest of blades

Mothballing the Muirfields for some element of forgiveness, the i3 blades, they have low offset and bounce, but nowhere near as low as practically nothing on the Muirfields

Its a sad day

lots of that going around.....its scary lookin at the bag and not seeing the TA1's shining in my eyes..... but then you go out, hit a bad shot with your more playable clubs that still gets to the green in makeable range and all is forgiven...

To be fair,I don't need the foregiveness,I need the lower lofts and extra height,I suppose thats foregiveness of sorts. The Muifields are a club shorter than the i3s

From what I've seen on this DB, your public announcement of benching the Muirfields is simply a veiled excuse to 'ho some new irons!!! Most of us haven't learned your professional and well disguised methods. We simply continue to 'ho and then invoke the wrath of wives, bill collectors, utility companies, and any other parties to which we have obligations. But you... you go on a public discussion board and announce the ol' Muirfields aren't doing their part in maintaining your golf game. Shame... Shame on you!! (But, a rather fresh approach! I like it!) It's okay. We're your support group. You can tell us what you're looking to 'ho next.

Good luck with the I3 Blades. What a great set of clubs! Had a WRX set with Flighted Rifles that was one of those sets I should have never let go! What are your Muirfields? Originals or remakes?

Cold weather, shorter flying shots, hard greens, you'll want them back in by mid-May.

It's a shame Dave, they look the dogs b*ll*x. I'm not a big Ping fan myself, have you already got the I3's? If not check these little buet's out;-

I'm tempted with a set of these but don't think I have a consistant enough swing to get on with these.

LOl,I've been watching those This is a relist,he failed to sell them first time round.I have hit them and like them, but I am going to have season with the Pings and see how I get on hitting high bombs,I never have and I am curious after 25 years of playing what its like to hit a high ball. The i3 blades have low offset and low bounce (not compared to the Muirfields though, those are lethal weapons)

The MacG's are nice sticks, btw. We have a demo 6-iron of that in the shop and it is NICE.

Did you see this review made about them:

“Fantastic irons,well worth the money.Very easy to hit,with a great feeling.I had a set of mp30,and had good results,but these clubs are 10 times better.handicap 7.”
