Ho'ing ain't easy

Not being satisfied with getting a 905R driver, a Nickent 4w, and 904F 7w last week, I just got back from buying three more golf windshirts and a beautiful framed wall picture of Augusta's # 13.

When will the madness end?

I just got back from Golf Galaxy (which is always a bad thing).

This time, I brought home a set of Mizuno MX 900's.

Still trying to convince myself that I needed new irons.

Those irons look so nice, they aren't suited to my swing but I'd have them in my bag just because they look so good

Those MX900s are sweet clubs, nice pick-up! I was thinking about picking up a couple of MX900s long irons however, my lessons are taking hold now so I'm actually looking at going the other way; keeping MX20 long irons and picking up some MP series short irons.

As long as you're staying in the Mizuno all is good.

Like WBL said, it won't, it only gets worse. I don't know how many times I've walked out of shop (or away from a private party sale) and thought "yes, finally done!"

As long as we're members of this forum we will continue to tempt and torture each other with all the ho'ing...

Haha, my obsession with finding a 3-wood that I really like continues as I am currently bidding on something else. lol. Like my current 3-wood set up, though the condition of the club is not to my liking. Am onto summat else at present, so will keep y'all informed in due course
I don't hardly ever hit the bloody thing, either....!

I played my first 18 today with the Mizuno MX 900's. Some highlights...

*Shot my lowest score to date, 89, previous low was 94.
*got my first ever birdie in the 5 months that I've been playing.

These clubs are staying in the bag.

That's amazing!. Hard to believe a new set of irons can make such a differance so fast!.

Verry nice round.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. Maybe my swing today was just working. But I needed an excuse to justify paying retail for a new set of irons.

Were you waiting behind the bush for me to post!

I'll bet your next round will be horrible, no offence, that's just the way she goes.

Only thing in my bag I bought that wasn't retail was my driver. I bought it used from a guy that came in from out of town. Have never used E-bay.
