Thread: Joining Fee's-A thing of the past?

  1. Joining Fee's-A thing of the past?

North West UK courses seem to be abandoning the entry fee's are these still applicable in other countries? or are they a thing of the past?

  2. You mean like an initiation fee? Our local private club still has these in addition to the regular season dues to golf and the mandatory bar/food tab. If you have to leave even for medical reasons for a season, when you come back you need to pay the initiation again. But it is not the best club in the area.

  3. Our club still has an initiation fee. Not huge ($1500) but still there no the less. The club my wifes uncle play out of has an initiation fee of $50,000, and a waiting list of over 200. Priveledge comes at a price.
