Thanks for the introduction and I am proud to be a sponsor here at Shot Talk. As for myself and my company. I started off in the industry and was introduced to the guys at Sizemore putters through a mutual friend as I was looking to begin a company with exactly what they were doing with LUX. So I began running LUX for them and continued my search to offer people more affordable customized putters.

When I finalized my designs I began Sunset Beach Golf Company and became the only distributor for LUX putters. So I know carry the Sunset Beach Milled line and the LUX cast line to service just about any budget.

With my milled offerings I did not want to be just another guy out there with an anser style copy. Will I release an anser style copy, yes, too many people want them not to do one. However with my surfside and Yaupon models I strove for something different and at the same time familiar. The surfside is longer heel to toe than an anser, and also deeper front to back. It comes with a myriad of hosel options. The Yaupon is more of an angular anser 2 style with a shorter heel to toe length and the flange brought back to make it more of a mallet.

I also chose carbon steel only for these heads, the 1st reason is weight, to get may target weight right where I wanted I had to go with only one tyoe of steel. Stainless and carbon do not have the same weight characteristics. Carbon was chosen over stainless for it's soft feel. There is no contest between any stainless steel and carbon steel for softness. Plus with the polymer coatings we offer(not just black oxide which wears and allows rust in) carbon steel was not an issue. We also offer a nickel plating which can be "smoked" for a pro platinum type of look or left in it's natural state for a highly reflective look. We can also dull some of the nickel and leave some shiny.

All of our customization work is done with hand stampes for two main reasons. We wanted our work to be different, never would two heads be exactly the same, each will have there own distinct look. Secondly because using a cnc mill for "engraving" removes weight and therefore changes target weight issues for being as exact as we can for our customers preferences.

Myself and more so James(Myndcraft) will be handling all internet orders. I have had to get some help from James as work I am doing on new heads and prototyping is taking up all my time. For instance right now I have two models(Southport by name) that are more of a traditional anser 2 shape. I also have the X prototype which is a forged and then milled head out of stainless steel(my first and only stainless at this time). I also have the pawley which is my high MOI mallet made out of aluminum with a copper back weight. Our new website should be up and running by the end of the month, but our current site shows many of our custom examples and some of the prototype models.

For Shot Talk members I will be running a special. I normally charge 250.00 plus shipping for my milled line and 185 for the x Prototype forged and then milled heads, both plus shipping. As you can see I am well below that of my competition, this can be done for two reasons, first I am not greedy. secondly this is not a full time job, I have a day job that pays the bills and I am only doing this to offer people a choice to buy am affordable high quality customized putter. I am please to announce a 10% discount and free shipping for all shot talk members.

Please contact James(myndcraft),who will get back to you fast, or myself with any questions or for ordering information.

We also offer putter refinishing services, check our website under refinishing for more information.
