We are extending the pre-book special www.indacupgolf.com/prebook.html which INCLUDES the new Tour Sock headcover. As well as issue a 20% discount on the new TourSwing "THUNDER" Fairway woods due to arrive on these shores in about 2 weeks!

Rick-

The pictures I have of these are at the shop... (I am still in AZ for another 3 weeks). But Tim will email me pictures as soon as he stumbles home from the Brewers game......

These heads, are an original design from TourSwing....kinda unique.

The face length and height are similar to most other fairway woods.

However, the the length from face to rear of the crown is much smaller than most fairway woods, but substantially bigger than a Hibrid wood.... somewhere in between....enough so that when I first saw it, and hit it I called it a "Fairbrid".

Tim wanted an easy to hit fairway wood that would also get out of rough, with longer distances than a Hybrid.

The center of gravity on these are 16% greater than the original Adams Tight lies....and I think we all remember how easy those were to hit.

The crown is a thick, gloss black....the sole (if I remember right) is part polished steel and part brushed steel. separated by a thin wavy red line with the name "Tornado" above it....very classy looking.

The thought process behind these heads was really sensible.

For the last few years the emphasis seemed to have been get a fairway wood with a hot face for distance......but think about it.

With a fairway wood, your ball speed will be slower than with a driver because they are shorter in club length, and heavier in weight.

As we all know, the slower your ball speed, the more ya want the ball in the air for added distance.

The added backspin also makes the ball flight very stable and less prone to side way errors (hook/slice).

Re: TVC Conformance Special!

I think Wilson Staff has a similar concept called "fybrid".
