i have considered him to be the best player without a win for a long time. well him and brett quigley im sure there are more but brian gay is a pretty consistent player. ive always known him to be a rather short hitter but he really got it done this week. props to brian gay on his first win ever in 292 starts even if it was the mayakoba which if you remember is the one where the big break winner brian kontak got to play... and missed the cut... way to make use of a chance like that mr winner of the 1999 canadian order of merit winner... so much ridiculous stuff happened in golf this week. tiger woods 8 and 7 romping of a very on fire stewart cink. and i spent too much money AGAIN what a suprise... im now saving up for nickent 4dx pro irons. they are forged so they must feel nicer than the 3dx pros i now have. so yeah! well just saying props to brian gay for his first ever tour win and hopefully he will win more!

That was a very steady win. I learned this week that he was #4 in putting stats last year. He had the whole game going this week. I think Steve Marino is also playing extremely good golf this year.

i agree completely i thought that steve could take it from brian gay if he let him. they both played really steady golf. good to see matt kuchar on the leaderboard... havent seen him since he won the honda a few years back. hes a talent hopefully this week gave him some confidence to go out and play some good golf. by gosh he deserves it.
