I think that was the aspect that made me think of this last night. You continue to see Palmer, Nicklaus and countless others out there turning up for events and continuing to play an ambassadorial role for the game, but I just could never see Tiger doing that. I figure he'll think he's done more than enough for the game as a player, and just won't be bothered playing tournaments that really don't mean anything to his legacy.

I also doubt that'll be too much of a disappointment to the other players. After spending entire careers in Tiger's shadow, I couldn't imagine they'd want to see out their playing days in the Senior tours continuing to play second fiddle to him.

A Tiger Post? I'm in.

I can't help myself - when I see a posting about the man, the myth, the legend, I have to chime in.

All due respect to Nicklaus, Snead, Palmer, and Player, Tiger will soon become the greatest player of all time statistically - the tourney wins, the major wins, and the money - you can't argue with numbers (I know, I know purse size is inflating dramatically).

And you can't attack his character, either. Think about what Tiger has done for the game, domination aside. Breaking down racial barriers, boosting ratings, increasing purses, and spreading the game among the general masses. He epitomizes greatness - not only as a golfer, but as an athlete. That being said, he may be the greatest athlete of all time. Michael Jordan may have him beat, though.

There's this one minuature golf course hole where there's a trick to where you have to hit it or the ball will roll all the way down to the beginning. I think I may be able to tame him on this hole if I played my best golf ever.
