Slam & Chuckle (SPOILER)

Well, there you have it folks. As Tiger is putting there's Johnny Miller:

"Well he's 0 for 21 on putts outside of 20ft this week..."

Good call there tips.

Tiger drains it, slams his hat down, huge double fist pump and screaming.

They show a clip of Bart Bryant's reaction, he just chuckled.

Palmer didn't look surprised AT ALL by Tiger draining that putt.

I fist pumped on the couch.

WOW!!! is this guy from this planet?
Talk about a pressure putt. I was kind of hoping for a playoff, so I could watch more, but the ending was awesome. I think somehow everyone knew that putt was falling in the cup.

Mind blowing, I can think of nothing I have ever seen in sport that demonstrates dominance the way this does. Johnny says he hasnt made one all week from outside 20, Roger says yep, he sure might be due though, johnny says yep, and in she goes. You could almost feel it before it happened. Enjoy this people, drink it up, this is special, this is something we may never see again in this great sport. Loving this game the way I do I just cant even imagine what it would feel like to be that good.

I was so happy he made that, it gave me 4,500 points for fantasy. Too Bad V.J didn't get 2nd that would have been about 7,000 total.

Honestly, how many people watching that putt live really thought he was going to miss it? I figured worst case scenario he would lip it out. You just knew he was going to give it a good run and 9 times out of 10 sink it. If he missed, everyone would have been asking what is wrong with Tiger.

That's exactly right Lyle, we are definately witnessing something absolutely amazing that none of us may ever see again in our lives.

Tiger has put it into complete dominance overdrive, the part I love about it though, he had to step it up to win. That's what makes it even better.

CA Championship next week, should be good

It was so amazing he 3 putted. I couldn't believe it, its alright though he still went on to win and thats all that matters.

it looked like it came off hot - but then I remembered that he was in FL and the greens down there are ass slow

Also the fact that that putt was into the grain the whole way.

The only comparison I can make is Michael Jordan. Like Jordan, Tiger embraces the pressure and wants control of the outcome in his hands. And like Jordan, he almost always comes up with the big play when the pressure is at it's greatest.

Admittedly Tiger did fall a long way behind and needed the leaders to back up on the weekend to get back in it, but he was good enough to go out on Saturday and shoot a great round. So when the leaders did back up he was waiting to pounce.

He is never out of a trounament until the last hole is played. He's now the most dominant he has ever been, and his game is stronger than it's ever been. I think over the next five years he will be the most dominant player in the history of the game. Even more dominant than Hogan and Nicklaus during their best years. I'm just glad I love watching him win because it would get pretty frustrating if you didn't.

How many back was he after rd 1? That putt was incredible but I think what everyone should be talking about is how he got to needing it to win by one.

He was 5 off the pace after the first round, then 7 back going into rd 3 (O'Hair was 10 back) and ended up in that 5 way tie for first going into sunday.
