Tiger does it AGAIN!!

21' putt on the last hole to win. Unbelievable the way he's playing. And he had lot's of guys pushing him. He just "responds" to it.

That was what he thrives on.. I love how Johnny Miller said he was 0-20 (or something close to that) on 20 ft putts or more all week, then he drains it to win outright.

Bryant's reaction was perfect also, its almost as if he knew it was going to happen.

I don't mind him winning when he has to work for it like today or the win over Baddeley that Friday during the match play. I get very bored watching him demolish the field.

And I was starting to think "there's nothing Tiger could do that would surprise me anymore..." And he sinks a 20+ footer when he hasn't made one all week. I love it.

The fact that he hadn't made one all week didn't surprise you? I was shocked!

Surprisingly the fact the he didnt make a 20+ footer all week didn't surprise me. Putting is the one thing I realize some days you have and some you don't.

It was funny, I was at work on Friday and he was like 9 shots back or something... with VJ out front and a par 70 layout I thought his streak was over.... what a silly I am.

How good is Tiger?

Well I'll put it like this. When I fantasize about being a great player, about being the best, I don't even go that far.

It seems crazy, but while watching him today on the 18th green I knew he would make it. He has done it so many times before. When he has to make a putt or shot, he does it. We are witnessing something very special with this guy and I am happy to be able to witness it.

Tiger is pretty good, if he keeps this up he may actually have a career in golf.

Yep, me too. I think this has to be one of his more impressive wins as he came from so far back. Has he been that far down and won before? On tour I mean.

That's me. Making a putt on 18 to win after being pressured all day is great golf...flogging the field is not.

What surprised me was the under 7 footer he missed after having made 51 straight...didn't see it, but heard the stat on XM and was really surprised he missed one that short (was it 3 feet?).

NBC had a graphic showing the last 4 or 5 tournaments where the winning score was equal to or less than the 36 hole leader's score. The comeback was not the impressive part for me this week because the same thing has happened just about all year on tour; someone looks like they are going to run away with the tourny after two rounds but then they start backing up. This week though, it was Tiger that was let back into the mix (didn't see Vijay coming back like that).

Don't misunderstand what I'm saying, he had to play lights out and did it with non-Tiger like putting (with the exception of the 72nd hole). He posted some serious scores on the weekend and had the lowest round all the 6-unders going into Sunday.

The most impressive stroke to me (other than the putt on 18) was the drive after his 3-putt. Very few tour pros would be able to get over a Sunday 3-putt so quickly. I mean, he didn't just "get it in the fairway", he smoked the damn thing.

I've only been into golf the last 10 years or so and, being in my mid-30s, I was too young to see Nicklaus in his prime. I can't even begin to compare golfers across eras but what I can do (and what I am doing) is watching and appreciating every minute of Tiger's era.
