I love Boo Weekley.

I just love this guy. What a character. Just a loveable good ole boy with a homemade swing. So free, so easy.

Did you see the five questions with McCord? When asked about golf club MOI, he answer "I don't know nothing if it ain't printed on a can"

In a world of uptight pro golfers, what a breathe of fresh air.

Not to mention the guy can smack the dog snot out of a golf ball, and he has a good touch around the greens. I agree - Boo is exactly what the tour needs. I'm still not convinced his persona isn't just a bit overdone, but who cares.

I agree he plays up the redneck routine but still a good guy. He's among my favorites because of attitude and the fact he's one of the best ballstrikers on tour, by far the most underrated one. Look at the course they playing, tight with the trees overhanging everywhere and small greens, that's why he's so good there.

Sam Snead played up the hayseed act as well. I remember reading a story where he was on the cover of the New York Times and he asked "how did they get my picture in New York, I ain't never been to New York" or something along those lines, of course said with a wink and nod I'm sure...

You bring up a great point Clugnut about how he is such a breath of fresh air. He is just so relaxed, and he seems and looks like such a nice guy. And he can play that golf game pretty well too, lol.

Personally my opinion, I dont really like him, he seems like a moron...

To honestly not know you can give people putts in match play, when you play on the PGA Tour... Thats just pathetic...

Not a fan of his at all.

I agree... although I think most of this is for show, or at least hope it is.

I'd love to play a round of golf with Boo Weekley.

I wonder if his club shafts make one of those cartoon BOING! sounds when he swings?

I'm sure there will be more SwingVision clips of his swing posted in the future. The one they did in the Verizon was a punch shot in which he delofted the club and drove it down hard into the turf. I'd like to see his full swing, like the 3-wood he played from the 18th tee on Sunday. That shot was a thing of beauty - beautiful arcing draw that started out on the right hand side and finished in the middle of the fairway.
