Tiger's putt on 18 to force a playoff

Well, was there even a doubt he would make it? Chime in.

I doubted, just because it was a decent size putt, and if the past 4 days have proven anything...

Tiger's human.

I knew he would make it but prayed he missed.

After he had to take a drop on 13 it seemed to take a b it of wind out of the sails & I did doubt he would make that putt.

I wasn't sure he'd make it but I was dead certain he'd at least get a big piece of the cup.

Maybe he should use a 4* driver, it's the only thing he hit straight all week

Clutch putt tho.

And I agree with Miller, why the hell was he laying up on 14???

290 to a stupidly difficult pin on 13 he goes for it.
267 to a wide open pin he lays up???

Tiger even admitted that the green was bumpy so the best he could do was hit a pure putt, almost like he knew it would take some luck. He said if he hit a pure putt he would be able to walk away and hold his head up high because he knew he did everything he could.

I was 50/50...but LOVED when it went in.

He wasn't putting like Saturday but he's Tiger and nobody putts better (or reads the greens better) under pressure then he does... And I remembered another tourney this year where he had to sink the putt to win...

On any other hole I would have said that I was 50/50 on whether or not he would make it. But since it was such a crucial putt, on the 72nd hole, there was no way I was betting against him. He has made to many clutch putts for me to do that.

I knew he would make it, too. The only time I can recall Tiger missing a crucial putt was last year at Oakmont at 18 on Sunday to tie Cabrerra. After his bombs yesterday, you just knew he was going to sink the 12 footer for the tie.

As soon as I saw how close he was I told my wife we were going to have a playoff. No doubt.

It really is remarkable how this guy does it every single time he needs too. This is about the 6th time this year alone he has made a putt he must make to win, force a playoff etc. If it didnt happen so often I would think he is lucky, but can one guy get this lucky this often?

I dont think that would have surprised anyone either. Its getting real hard for Tiger to surprise me at this point. The extraordinary has become the ordinary.
