Surprising Clubs

I was looking at Lee Westwood's and Rocco Mediate's clubs. Westwood was playing I3's and Mediate was playing X-20's. Neither are ultra game improvement. But neither are anywhere near blades. So much for the best players playing different clubs than the rest of us.

Well, more than anything its fitting.

I am going to rebend my I-3s though, out of curiousity.

I noticed Rocco using some pretty beefy sticks as well but keep in mind that, with the exception of the X-Forged, all Callaway heads are a little beefier.

As for Westwood, his bag is almost exclusively the new 10 series. He uses an Ug-Le putter but his irons are the i10 not the i3 (the toe weighting and triangular CTP are both clearly seen in this photo).
