Actually Morgan has won three AJGA tournaments this year.
The Thunderbird International Junior, the Rolex Girls Junior Championship and the McDonald's Betsy Rawls Girls Championship. She is still ranked #1 in the American Junior Golf Association. Whether you like her or not, that's pretty damned impressive in my book. still ranked #1 in the American Junior Golf Association.

Pressel Wins 2005 U.S. Women's Amateur Title

I am pretty sure winning the U.S. Women's Amateur Title is not like winning her local CLUB C.
She won the TOP WOMEN"S AMATEUR TOURNAMENT in North America. She finished 2nd in the U.S. Women's Open

She has not proven herself at the PRO LEVEL simply because she is not a PRO.
She rarely plays LPGA events. She qualified for the US Women's Open.

Seems to me there is a bit of a double standard here. Tiger Woods was all of that and more when he won his U.S. Amateur Titles.
Pressel wins the Women's Amateur and she has not "PROVEN HERSELF"?
Give me a break. If she decides not to turn Pro does that mean she did not prove herself?
You guys better take a look at some of the past U.S. Women's Amateurs and see if they went on to prove themselves at the Pro Level. Sure not all of the past winners went onto bigger and better golf careers. Maybe they chose not to do so. That is up to Pressel to decide the path she wants to take in life.
As far as I am concerned the girl has proven to the rest of the golf world she has talent.

BTW - from the article I read about her - she is turning pro soon after her 18th birthday.

So it won't be long before we all find out if she has the juice for the LPGA..

Pressel deserves more press than Wie based on what she has done in Women's and Girl's Amateur Golf.

Problem is the way I see it anyways. Wie hits it a mile, so Wie gets invited to play PGA Events and LPGA events. Wie sells tickets, based on the fact she hits it a mile. Now I am not saying Wie can't play, her record in LPGA events this year proves she can.

However here is Morgan Pressel, (I happen enjoy watching her play) who rolls through JR golf like a steam roller on hot asphalt. Wins the Women's US Amateur in a slaughter in the 36 hole final. Yet the media hardly says boo about her. Now is that fair to Miss Pressell? I think not.

As for your statement "Always back to Tiger with you" it is nice to know you are sharp enough to pick up the fact I am not a fan of Tiger Woods. I am not a stupid Canuck as some on here might think. I have played the game of golf for 24 years.
I realize the man can flat out play golf. I just do not like his style when things are not going his way on the course. For instance the big bag kick caught on TV during the PGA. How professional was that? I can't recall Jack or Arnie ever kicking their golf bags.

Bottom line, Morgan Pressell will turn Pro, she has already indicated that will happen when she turns 18. Morgan Pressell will win LPGA events. She has the game to do it. Wie folded like a cheap tent during the Women's US Open, Pressell did not.
Wie has plenty of game too. However she has not proven herself amongst her peers at this stage of the game. Pressell has.

Interesting that you reference being a 'stupid Canuck' as a way of replying to an individual who lives in British Columbia (Silver). I guess he can weigh in on this from a Canadian perspective.

And all of us here are still in our respective states, provinces, counties, kingdoms, monarchies and oligarchies and haven't left either - except to travel on business trips and vacations.
