Thread: Is there a sun in Europe?

  1. Is there a sun in Europe?

Seriously... my friends across the pond... do you all have a sun over there? Seems like every Euro PGA tourney I watch it's raining/overcast/bleh. I don't ever remember the sun shining on an Open Championship.

There IS a reason the Europeans are as white as us Wisconsinites...

Been great weather here all week, well for us anyway, 25 degrees Celsius. Pretty sure it was good weather at The European open and decent at Wentworth.

The weather is great this time of year in Western Europe.

We went to Ireland in '96. I worked for months to hit the ball lower to play in the wind and overcast weather. It rained for the front nine at Ballybunion our first day there, and was sunny, calm, and 75-80* for the rest of the ten day trip.

I was kind of disappointed, but it was still the best vacation we ever took by a long shot. Golf, Guinness, Irish whiskey, and talking in the pubs. It doesn't get any better than that. Knocked up my Wife while we there, though, and we haven't been back. I told my 12 year old daughter when she breaks 100 we're going back. Hopefully next summer.

Plenty of sun in Italy, spent a month there & it rained maybe 2 days total. I don't recall seeing a single golf course though.

In France it's under the arms and on the legs of the women.
