I agree with you. So what, the guy missed a cut. I am laughing at the folks who think the world is over.

You know what it is though and I am fully prepared to be blasted on this, but its a testament to how good the guy is! Every other big name in the game coudl miss a cut in the major and we woudl just shrug and say "it happens" and it does. But Tiger NEVER misses the cut in majors or regular events either for that matter-with the exception of the 06 Open after his father died.

It just goes to show how good a golfer he really is...

Those are probably the same folks who get mentally distraught when their favorite baseball or football team loses. Doesn't really affect them unless they have $$$ riding on the outcome.

I agree with you Jim. I am not a "hater" or a "worshipper" of Tiger. I find both types equally amusing. He is just a very, very good golfer to me.

I wouldn't call myself a worshipper, I just really enjoy being around to see one of the truly ALL TIME greats at the game of golf. I never got to see Hogan, Nelson, Snead, Sarazen, Jones and missed most of Nicklaus' career. Whether or not he gets to Jack's record he is still in the top 2 or 3 of all time.

I think he's playing with a different mental outlook. He used to be more aggressive and possitive and that usually translates into good shots.

If you are playing "not to lose" and laying up you're playing like "there's a pond over there, I hope I don't go in it". What happens when you think like that? You go in the pond.

And his flatter swing was his idea. His swing does look quite different from his dominant years.

But I think he'll figure this all out (swing and mindset) and come back in the future. It hasn't been that long ago he had the surgery.

I think Tiger is losing his focus on the game.

I don't have any proof to back this up but I bet he is not practicing and prepairing like he used too. He has a wife and two kids now. I bet he can't wait to get home after every tournament now.

His wins this season have been just pure talent on display. He is that good. His bad weeks show me that he is not practicing the way he used too.
