They should just give the trophy to Tiger now

With being just one shot back in a major tournament and having something to prove they could just as well give Tiger the trophy right now and save the rest of the field the trouble. Its just my opinion but I can't see anything short of a heart attack keeping Tiger from winning on Sunday and probably by more than a few strokes.

What do you think??

I have to agree. Watching him CHARGE the last few holes had to scare the pants off the rest of the challengers. When he puts his mind into his game there is no one on this planet that can beat him. Sorry Phil but that's the truth.

Too many good players close to him. This tourny is anything but over. Especially if the conditions get bad. I still think Mickelson is right in it as well. It seems like he never really plays early on in majors. Somebody else can disprove this, but I never think of him like that.

Tiger just posted a course record 65 and is now -12 under three strokes clear of the field and its only Friday. If the weather stays decent he's going to be setting some records.

Not so fast, two very steady South African's are within striking distance. What a tournament so far. The British is the best major in my mind. I can't wait for the weekend action. Look at DD also. He won't win but -4 through two rounds is great for him. I'd like to see him regain some form and become a contender in his prime years.

Wow! What happened to Darren Clarke! +10 through 15 holes, guess he's not going to make the cut.

Well Daly was being Daly again...-2 coming into the 18th and decides to take out the big dog and pushes way OB. Then again with his fairway wood pushing it way OB and taking a crowd pleasing triple bogey to finish +1 and miss the cut...WELL DONE JOHN!!!

He was one of my picks too. He had been playing well lately.

I was at Golfsmith today picking up a new glove. Somehow the Golf Channel had gotten some footage of a couple of BBC announcers as they watched his approach on 14...they stopped talking and just watched his approach.

When Woods hit it in from the fairway for an eagle two - they just shook their heads in amazement...

Agree with Rosmo....even though Tiger only leads by one - I think its his tourney to lose.

He's on the prowl....gonna win one for the Old Man.

Let's see what happens. I am enjoying the low scores with lots of birdies and eagles.

36 holes does not, a tournament, make!!!

Woods shot one very good round and now he's to be crowned as the champ?!!

Don't hatchet your counts before they chicken!!!

Did you not notice that two other golfers recorded the same numbers today ... and that there were several others who also approximated it?!

Poor fellow has a lot on his mind. I imagine that it is slightly a relief to be out, at least he can spend time with his wife now.

As far as Tiger goes, I think he can do it, and hope he will. But(and there is always a but), if conditions worsen Els has a good chance at it, given The Big Easy's way.
