Thumbs up MJT or CJGA?

Anyone here playing Maple Leaf Junior Tour (MJT) or Canadian Jr Golf Association (CJGA)? I play cjga and started mjt this past week, and love the way theyve setup tourneys for us jr cdn golfers.

I was going to go to a MJT event in my province but I realized I alredy had a commitment to another tournament during that day. It was a shame, looked very exciting and competitive. I might go in some next year. I just wish they were closer to me.

Did you enjoy the MJT event?

I play a few junior events around my area. Not as much as some of the members of my club think but I get to a few.

There’s one big one in NS that gets a lot of players. I'm going in it next year. It's a 4 round trny with a 3 round cut. Should be funnn.

What is the format of these tournaments? Stroke or Match??

What does it take to qualify? Do you have to have an index of "x" or below??

I think theres stroke and match play. Depends on what tourniment you go to probably. I dont know much about MJT, and very little about the CJGA.

Mostly all of them are stroke play events, that you pay to get into. all though there are others that are qualified for. There is no hdcp restrictions, and they organize it by age groups, 13 and under, 14-16, and 17-19 (up to 21 for MJT), and Girls.
