Furyk takes early lead in Canadian Open

-7 today....he really smoked it. Veeg finished at -2.

Weir and Ames are Canada's best hope but they are struggling early....

It's over, Jimmy will close it out -22 and just paste the field. Its the srixon balls, they are magical.

Jimmy won't get to -22 on that course. Last winning score there was -8. If you have walked that course you will know if can be as tough as any US Open setup, if they want it to be. When I was there the last time one of the kids I was with got a ball from Scott Verplank. We stood and dropped it at our feet into the rough and it was BYE BYE GOLF BALL. The rough that year was close to 6 inches high.
Winning score could get to double digits but I really doubt you'll see -20.
BTW Mike was T94 after round 1. Not a good way to start. Ames T94 but who cares about him, he is not Canadian.

Well Weir got his traditional bad round out of the way, so hopefully he can pick it up.

Who cares about Mike, he isn't Canadian? Why, that's exactly why you should care! hehehe. This is good watching though, good tournament.

I did not say Mike was not Canadian. I said AMES is not a Canadian, Oh sure he has a card that says he is, but he does not have a birth certificate stating that fact.
Doesn't matter anyways, Ames withdrew, lower back (More like I got a FOOT UP MY A**) and Mike will miss the cut.
