Exclamation Last Chance @ the "DUB"

Alright, im guna be kool and update u guys as i go along this last tourney of mine for the year. It's being played at The Redwoods golf club is langley BC. If you want to see the scores theres a link at the bottom to the results page and u can see all the individual hole scores and such (all though they havent done too good at updating it right away... so if its not there the ppl are just being lazy). As you know.... im riding 3 straight 2nds, so i want this one for my first W.

-I played a practise round today, t'was pretty good, the new R7 is freakin unreal, uncorked a couple in the 270-290 range, and popped one over the 300 mark. Bogey 7, birdie 8, bogey 9 and thats my round, a +1 73. We shall see if i can keep up the fws and grns for the weekend. Im goin for the dub harder then ever this weekend. (the kid ive placed 2nd to the last 2 tourneys is in this tourney (its his home course...) and im raring to take him down this weekend!)

(my name is Ryan Stugis btw in the 17-19 age group)

yea, these tourneys are more geared toward the 14-16 age group, but the kids in my age are good (Ted Cho won last 2 tourneys, Scott Cameron is a solid player as well, dont know the other 2 kids in other group though...)

Alright. Well i guess you can take this headline;

"Front nine massacre at Redwoods"

+6 41 on the front, 2 doubles and some stupid approach shots screwed that nine... but i hung on with a +1 back for a 78, draining a 8 ft birdie on 18 with some dude starting to sing in my backstroke (wedding). So i closed out on a solid note. im 8 back of the lead, kid in group behind me fired one deep 70 and 2 back of 2nd who shot 76. I was low in my group. So im guna take the back nine from today take it out tomorrow and hope to try and get into 2nd and maybe a chance toward the title.

Little engine that could; "i think i can, i think i can, i think i can..."

Why the WD in the CSB-British Columbia PGA Junior??.

looks like some tight competition out west.

I have placed no worse the T10 in all the tourniments I have played. With scores from 76-87. my best is 4th. But the feilds I play have 20-40 players.

GL tomorrow..

The WD was because i torn ligaments in my wrist and played another 11 holes with it on ice. They have really long fescue at boundary shores (links course, real links, open, right on the ocean) i was in the stuff and ripped at it, went nowhere and hurt my wrist, i did it the 2nd time and it hurt my wrist even more (but i got out) couldnt even swing a club the next day.

Even though we dont have such big feilds in our 17-19 div, we get really quality players in them. Also the courses we play always setup SUPER tough. Like dirtiest pins ever, fast greens etc.

Let me guess, he uses a ping putter.

No actually he does have a scotty

Well... guess who is the proud owner of 2nd place of the entire CJGA fall series.... goddamnit.... i hate 2nd place... at least i earned it this weekend. Played a solid round with 3 bogeys (13-14-15) and a couple other bogies and birdies... missed an eagle on 18 by less then an inch, tapped in for bird. 78-74 for a 152.

I started the day 2 back of 2nd, and was even with him through 12 holes. We both stuffed shots in on 8, he made bird i didnt, he 3 up now. Both stick it on 9, i centre cut it from 9 ft, he wasnt looking and i let him know i made it, and he 3 putted, now were both +1 for the front and even for the day. I make a clutch par after a horrible tee shot on 11, then stick a shot on the par 3 12th, he misses the green. I lip out for bird, tap-in, he's left with 3 ft for his par. He 3 jacks and right there his day is over. I end up taking 2nd by 3 or 4, he went on with 2 more bogies and 2 more big numbers. I was 8 outta first as the day started, and finished 11 out. But that kid is nuts anywayz... I played pretty good and stared this guy down all day (he's scratch im a 2).

SO i owned 2nd place in the CJGA fall series... taking all 4 of them... I guess its a good way to finish off my season, 4 straight 2nds, and played solid my final round with a +3 74. I think i was somewhere like 6th or 7th in the entire tourney, so thats not too shabby at all.

"Pedreg Panic"?

Is that a real name or were you playing with a professional wrestler?

Scott Cameron and Padreg Panic?

You should be happy with second! Playing with one of the most famous putter makers and a pro wrestler!

Seriously though, toss your scotty and pick up an Anser or 2Ball, they are better putters,

i may have beaten them, but i lost to Tiger himself, or at least the 17 yr old version of him Ted Cho, you look at him and u think about Tiger right away, he's decked out exactly like him

Hell like im tossing my Scotty, i love my scotty, all though 2balls are very nice, im not big on mallet putters, and i dont like ping putters for some reason (not because the thread and military stuff, just nvr really liked the feel of them...)
