Krank golf- YEA or NAY?

Just wondering what you all thought of the company, their drivers, and the new diesel tour shafts that are available now. Anyone have any reviews, concerns, complaints?

I was also wondering about the 3w.

Is $300 a good deal for a new Krank El Diablo w/ diesel tour shaft + El Diablo 3w w/ diesel shaft?

Never heard of them, although $300 is not really that cheap as I could piece together quite a few drivers and 3w's that I like for well under $300. Including the ones I own and just bought this year to replace my Ping G2's, and wouldn't trade for any other option, which could likely be had for under $250. Or their predecessor which currently has a deal to buy the driver and get a FW for free. Which just happens to be $299

You could also likely pair together just about any brand of last model drivers and FW's for around $200-250

How did you hear about these, or what made you think about them without seeing any prior reviews?

I actually had already ordered this driver setup before I had made the post. I just got them in the mail yesterday and had today to break them in and play a full round with them.

Let me just say,
HOLY SHITBALLS

This is the best driver I have hit all year, well hell I guess EVER, as far as the head+shaft combo.
I got mine with the fujikura diesel tour which is a high-kick low launch shaft. It lowered my RPM's on my swing so I can actually get a good amount of roll after carry.

I'm not kidding you, I gained around 20-40 yrds right out of the box.

BEFORE:
Ping G2 Alida 65-NV Stiff 45.6"
250-275(carry dist) avg with a few little longer, 19-22* launch angle, 0-5 yrds roll after carry

NOW:
Krank El Diablo Fuji diesel tour 47" Stiff
265-310(carry dist) avg, 15-18* launch, 10-30 yrds roll after carry

I had a few mis-hits that still turned out around 260ish, but WOW, when you get a hold of one with this setup it shoots out like a rocket.

Now I have a nice mid-flight trajectory with no balooning (had a bad problem balooning the ball with G2) and less spin (grooveless face).

They also gave me a free 3w with fuji diesel shaft which I didn't get to try yet.

Sorry to say, but based on the circumstances this now just sounds like an Ad. Why waste our time and ignore any response if your mind was already made up? Just come on and say, "This driver is GOD", it would likely go as far as what you did.

So, you don't see any issue with trying to control a 47" driver???

Hahaha, wasting time is what this site was designed to do. I suspect that everyone that posts on here has time to waste.

But na, aside from the ad like comments I love this new driver.
I've recently been hitting a draw or a hook, so I haven't been that accurate with old G2. I had about the same accuracy but better ball contact. I just need to work out this damn hook and I should be ok.

I'm tryin to think how I heard of them, I think it was just by those outrageous 10,000 reserve price on ebay they put on a few. But I looked into their site, saw the list of long drive champions, checked em up on the net. I couldn't really find any negative reviews toward them so I said, "What the hell". It was an impulse buy, and those rarely go positive, but I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Jesus, who pee'd in your cheerios. I posted the question to see what the overall reputation was. I had already ordered at time of post but I was curious if my impulse buy was going to be a bad buy.

I do agree with you completely, don't see the point on doing so then unless its a simple adv. I do find it strange that someone using a G2 driver with that kind of set up would want to try a "Krank" or whatever the name is Driver as their first choice without having tried it before, and paying the price of a New G10 (there you go WBL) or any other Driver in the market with reviews and "demoing" opportunities.

From what they were saying it fitted what I needed.
Needed lower ball flight with MUCH less spin.

I work in a mall where they have a Dick's, I know the PGA pro that works there and I have tried every stock driver with every major club manufacturer except Ping.(Callaway, Cobra, Nike, Taylormade burners)
I have also tried the g10 and it is a high launch head, just like the other ping setups.

So I admit it was a lucky impulse buy that turned out to be good.

Why is everyone in here being a cheesedick when they hear something other than big name brand name golf?

If your pissed off about me wasting your time then why the hell do you all keep posting unhelpful posts that is wasting both your and my time.

I personally could give 3 $hits about name brand golf equipment, but will sum it up for you.

You posted a thread to get opinions on a driver, which undenounced to us, you had already bought and asked if it was a good deal. You got sincere and honest opinions for which you gave no legitimate response. You then preceded to "tell us" what a great deal it was. You then further ignored any legitimate question regarding the driver, and insinuated the entire site is designed as a waste of time, now you are of the impression that anyone that does not agree with you and do not instantly validate your purchase are just a bunch of "Cheesedick" fanboys.

Am I missing anything? If you simply want confirmation or justification of your purchase with lack of any opinion or conversation outside of support for your decision, you are likely looking in the wrong place.

edit 1 - If it will make you feel better, and to speak on your level. You have a pretty cool Avatar, unfortunately I could give 2 $hits about avatars either and have never used one.

made a few for LDA guys this year.. the heads alone were going for mucho $$ earlier this year. that price is not bad for two clubs now. performance wise - not bad.. rock it!!
