Please compare to the ProLaunch Red. I'm one of the few who like the PL Red. It feels like I can swing away and not worry about the ball going every which way (regular shaft, 220-250 yards.) I'm sure the head has something to do with that. The only thing I don't like about it is the low launch. I struggle to get my launch angle up with this driver. I don't want to screw up a good thing though. My "fairways hit" percentage has gone way up with this driver, and I like the feel of the shaft. But the ho in me is ever on the search for an improvement.

rock- you just may love this one. since you were such a big creation fan. mid launch/mid spin.. definetly tappers of the flight some. takes that balloon feature away from the equation.
---eraser -- more life than the pro launch red.. better feel- same firm point and shot control. others for you to look at> ust axiv black, accra xc-65, voodoo 60, tour concept pro launch blue.. the PL RED is a fine shaft - just lacks good feel but than again it is a low launch / low spin design.. not made to feel soft.

--- MAP price or the shfts is said to be $350 i think.
---- ShotTalk members get a hefty discount on installation or new builds..

FURTHER reviews -
D2 9.5 with 63 x .. mini tour fellow > back in today.. loves it - less spin and can go after it.. better feel than the white board he has in a burner now- which is getting reshafted.
G10 reshaft to a customer in Va. -- had stock V2 in it and now can go after it and lowered his spin rate.. smooth feel.
nakashima np-1 460 to an AZ customer.. 63 regualr flex.. comes form a matrix xcon 5... better control- less spin..

just more info on the new' BLUE BOARD--- Kai'Li

How much of the performance change might be mental? I always wonder, new equipment generally tends to be better in everyones head, so thats why we see it as an improvement.
No offense I'm just curious.

well- mental confidence is why you play well.. having the right equipment to compliment your game is part of it. i have a few good mini tour guys i do work for and you want to talk fragile minds.. baby you have it 10 fold at that level. verse you and i doing the weekend thing. so from one you get the other- i am just posting on how the new blue board is reacting verse other shafts and how it is different from the current model. good point and one builds on th eother- in mind over matter and how new gear effects the game.

Re: Diaman Kai'Li new- 09 entry

I just got this shaft ( 70g / s )put in an FT-3 Head and could not be happier. Gained 20-30 yards and far more accurate. Used to lose it right when aggressive. Not anymore! A little expensive at about $300 but i found it well worth the price.

I like the size of the head and speed was better than others so just decided to stick with it. Was not a cost saving measure..

I think it is more recommended for those with swing speeds a min of 105mph.. Swing speeds less than that can benefit from a much cheaper replacement shaft I would think...

Shaft is Stiff but I would say it is closer to XS..
