Unfortunately for me, it's not our golf game. Mr. Harrington and I both wear the new SYNR-G golf shoe from Footjoy.
Footjoy sent me a pair of these several weeks ago and it wasn't until just last week that the snow and ice had receded enough for me to try them out.

A couple of things stand out right away. First is the cleats. I almost could not take my eyes off them. They are Stinger cleats by Champ and they just look, well, sexy and mean. I mean, they are not the timid little spikes we are used to seeing on our shoes. These puppies mean business.
When I put the shoes on one other thing jumps out at me and that is this little heel pocket called HeelLoc. This silicone heel zone reduces friction and keeps your foot safely harnessed. It feels like a sport bucket seat for your heel (there's another race car reference).
This is, as all FootJoy shoes are, a very comfortable shoe. They built this for maximum stability and it really delivers. I know all of you manly men are always trying to swing out of your shoes but if you have a pair of these on......you won't be able to. It's like an extension of your foot.
Pricing is on the high side, comparable to Dry Joys. The MSRP is $220 but they can be found on line for about $180.
