    Swing Speed Radar

Has anyone had any experience with SportsSensors "Swing Speed Radar"?
Supposedly an inexpensive method of measuring swing speed and ball speed. It looks like an affordable device but I'm curious about it's accuracy.

I've got the one without the tempo. It's dead nuts accurate. That's one nice thing about Doppler Radar -- as long as it's measuring reflections from the object you want to measure the physics is pretty straightforward and hard to goober up.

If you follow their setup guidelines you'll find it's very accurate and repeatable.

You may want to consider the Swing Speed Radar with Tempo Timer. It's nice to compare both swingspeed and tempo.

If you are looking to measure ballspeed it is tricky, but if you want to try it you can order a protective cover for it as you'll have to lay it down.
