About to test run some drivers

Just on my way out the door to test run a few of the drivers and woods I've knocked up.
The three main candidates are:
GEEK DCT with Grafalloy Prototype BiMatrx shaft
Cleveland HiBore XL with GD Pershing shaft (tipped 3/4'' to play closer to a S+)
Mizuno Blue Rage 310cc with SynerG Fly stiff shaft.

Will also be testing out the Orlimar Trimetals I purchased:
12* with stock EI-70 stiff shaft
13* with R300 shaft
19* with R300 shaft
(I will be replacing these shafts eventually, I just need to get my hands on some shims first.

Will report back with my findings, but it will take something fairly special to knock my Burner TP/Creation combo out of the bag.

Heres hoping.....

Would you accept a draw by any chance?

The swing wasn't exactly 'ON' but still managed to bust out a few LONG 5 yard draws of about the 240 metre (265-270) yard range for the first 6 balls. Then things went severely downhill. 5 yard draws turned into 10 and 15 yard draws with the occasional 20 yard hook. Aint no way in hell that this club is going left on me at least.

Cleveland HiBore XL with S+ GD Pershing. This thing is bullet straight, but that straight is 5-10 yards right of where I'm aiming. Don't know if I can get used to the closed face on this thing. I suppose if I aim at the trees left and swing away I'll be fine but don't know if my brain can process this. Ball flight may be a little high too.

Mizuno Blue Rage with SynerG Fly. Well SynerG may have taken over the design of the Creation but this shaft sure as hell aint no Creation. Not even close to the same stiffness. Very disappointed with this shaft, but it will get one more chance for redemption before being tipped and more than likely thrown in a 3 wood. Nothing but hooks. Is the tip soft in this thing?

Orlimar Trimetal Plus 12* with EI-70. This club is a machine. Great ballflight, workable each way with control and easy as hell to hit off the deck. In the bag. Won't be knocked out. Yet still tempted to change the shaft. Why?

Orlimar Trimetal 13* with regular steel shaft. Horrible. Hated it. I think I may finally be used to playing fairway woods with graphite shafts because this thing felt like crap. Tempted to pull the nRage out of the Titleist and have a dip at this but will have to get some shims first.

Orlimar TriMetal 19* with regular steel shaft. I haven't played a 5 wood in about 8 years so really didn't expect anything from this club. Pleasant surprise. I love it. Hit this thing to lay up from 200 metres (220 yards) on a par 5 and flew the green. Just absolutely massacred it. Hit a few more and averaged about 200 yards and pretty damn straight. Will also go in the bag until the honeymoon period is over. 1 and 2 iron out at this stage.

Still have an Accuflex Evolution, SynerG Tour First Article, Graman UL780 in S+ and X+ and 3 Accuflex Creations to go in places so there are plenty of replacements in the wings for any that misbehave. We'll see how we go.
