Re: Nike Sumo Irons

I've heard good things about them any reason why you chose those over the slingshot 4D's they have been getting very good reviews in the super game improvement area

Re: Nike Sumo Irons

the sumo's have been getting really great game improvement reviews. slingshots are to help get the ball in the air and that's not what i'm looking for

Re: Nike Sumo Irons

I was reading more reviews and it looks like the sumo's are getting amazing reviews. I have the slingshot hl's and they do get the ball a little high for my taste but they are stupid easy to hi and the hybrids are nice.

Re: Nike Sumo Irons

yeah i heard the same thing about the heighth. some people say the ball height effects the distance. and honestly, i can get the ball in the air with my 25 year old banged up irons. imagine what better i'll do with these nice 300 dollar irons. another thing that gave me a lean towards the sumo irons is that i think they're the absolute coolest irons ever. the yellow is awesome. it's very attractive.

Re: Nike Sumo Irons

your absolutely right they look fantastic be sure to let us know how you like them. when I boot the sling shots out of the bag which wont be anytime soon it's ether the sumo's because nike game improvement irons are so easy to hit or the new mizuno game improvers.

Re: Nike Sumo Irons

went out yesterday and hit my new irons. with my old ones i was hitting about 125 with my 9 iron. i was hitting 150 with my nike 9 iron, and it was absolutely straight. perfect ball flight. it was in the air and it was the most solid feeling i've ever had. i only hit my 8 and 9 iron. i was looking forward to hitting a long iron but i was in a hurry. i ran over to the range and only bought about 20 balls haha.

Re: Nike Sumo Irons

Your new 9 iron probably has the same loft as your old 7 iron.

Re: Nike Sumo Irons

oh man, they are nice. the dampening insert works wonders for vibration. there's no recoil to ur hands. especially in the cold, with a longer iron. it helps. ball heighth was perfect. took me a while to get used to the offset. it was different from my old irons, but i caught on. i can hit the PW great. the longer irons are easy to hit. i love them and i'm going to continue to play them every day. i highly recommend them. i hit steel shafts. got them for 300 bucks on rock bottom golf as opposed to the 359 that the other sites are offering. nike has them MSRP'd at 699 so that's a great deal guys.
