I joined this forum a while ago, but I don't visit that much because I find it so slow.
I really like the site, but I find it really annoying with my computer being so slow. I do have dial-up& not broadband, would this be the main problem of the site being so slow.
Does anybody else have any ideas.
It is definitely your connection. With more and more people on broadband, sites are designed with those users in mind. Out of all the forum sites I visit, this is one of the fastest. Hope that helps

I've noticed occasional slow page loads, even with my broadband connection. But overall, it's very fast. Dial-up SUCKS.

Your problem is dial-up. I have DSL at work with about 1MG of download speed and cable at home with about 5MG of download speed and the site runs fine...
Get broadband and don't look back...

It's the dial up Julie.... sorry, but that's the way it is.
ST is graphics heavy on the home page so any dial up connection would be pretty slow.

I really think I will have to get broadband.
Don't wait. I used to think "Like I don't have thirty seconds to wait for a page to load... ten years ago I would've waited an hour, or not had an internet connection!"
The time is now. Broadband is a HUGE difference, in most cases, if not all.

usualy mine is preety fast and im on dial up but maybe i just spend to much time here and its imbeded in the comps brain.:laugh:
