Database Searches

Hey Sling,
Is it just me or did you wash out some of the criteria on the database for older and archived posts? Only seems to go back about a month now and not even to the first of the year on certain searches. Not all of them, but some of them.

After testing a little, probably just a little isolated as it works with some terms and not others??? Let me provide an example. If I search for the word "tee", it only goes back to 1/15/08. Further, if I do an advanced search for the word "tee" for a month ago or older, it finds no records

Maybe just something about such a short words or that word, but usually if that is the case it says it is too short or too common. Maybe not a big issue, just kinda strange, less common than I initially thought as it just seemed to happen on the first couple searches I did, but probably worth mentioning in case you see similar issues.

edit 1 - I probably should know better with my experience, kinda like screaming fire when you only see smoke. Usually better to isolate the source unless of course you like to watch people trample each other simply because someone had a nicotine fit.

Try using the google search bar on the home page (near the bottom).

This version of the software is technically a beta version. I don't expect a gold version for a few more weeks. I know it doesn't like short search terms......golf tees brings up results from 2004

I just tried the google bar and entered 'tee'

returned 5310 results. Is that deep enough?
