Sling, can you please...
get rid of that "Shot Online" add on the bottom of the shot talk forum? That noise is incredibly irritating, plus it's in spanish. My speakers are always on, and turning them off isn't really a viable option.

Anyway, if you can turn that sound off, that would be great. If not, then I'm sure we can all deal with it.

Will let Sling answer but still wanted to give feedback, but this is probably a Google ad in relation to the area you live (although may be related to the Google ad footer on the site). I have never had an ad since he added the headers and footer that involved any sort of volume. Right now mine is a google ad from the Lehigh Valley and the reason I assume it is localized. Not sure he would be able to do away with it without doing away with a valid sponsor.

edit 1 - FYI, if that is the case you could maybe click on the little link in the bottom corner that says "Feedback - Ads by Google" and tell them the specific ad is annoying because of the audio.

This is starting to remind me of one of the threads when I was over on GR, when a guy became irate because he was was told he had won something from one of the ads and they would not pay up. Blamed them for getting him involved in the add.

I've never had an ad that made noise either. I honestly never paid attention to the ones on the bottom.
