Question about the site....
I've just lately noticed the flash adds here and this site used to run pretty quick, but now it is the slowest site I frequent and I think it's because of the adds. Is this NEW?

It is new but flash shouldn't slow you down if your browser is caching properly.

The site runs fine for me.

Try deleting your cookies for the site and when you log back on your browser should be able to get back on track.

The site runs fine for me, no difference if the flash ads are on or off. There are a couple other sites out there that I frequent which are ultra slow & those don't have any flash ads.

What browser do you use? It's easy to block them with firefox.

I agree, things have slowed down a bunch lately. Not terrible - just slower.

I have made some tweaks that may help.

I have one more trick up my sleeve that I will implement later today....but it will only work for.......some people.

I still recommend a cookie cleanse for everyone to take advantage of these changes.

Had been away for a week in Hilton Head, and on getting back I noticed a hugh slow down as well. I do run Firefox and regularly clear my cache and have never had an issue. Even making a post or editing a post would take almost a minute to reflect or update.

Blocking the Ads did fix the problem.
