Well, in a past life I used to be a graphic designer, and occassionally I like to fool around and dabble a bit again (my creative side just screaming to get out).

Tonight I just happened to be playing around with the shottalk page header, and below is what I came up with.

You're free to use it if you like, but if not, no hard feelings... I figured I'd just make the offer, no strings attached.

Do you mean like something different for the rest of the header?

I'm sure I could come up with something.

If you have any ideas yourself, just throw them into the mix and I'll be more than happy to see what I can do.

I just need to know what kind of 'feeling' you're going for with the heading, such as course photos, etc., and possibly anything else you'd like included.

I like the 'Amen Corner' photo that you're currently using, but if you'd like something different in that regard, just let me know.

I also embellished the 'It's more than a game' from the original header, but if you'd like to go back to that, it's no problemo.

Actually, they're breeches, like the old golfers used to wear (a'la Bobby Jones)... I googled 'golfer' and that guy was from a costume shop.

How about the ShotTalk crew walking across the bridge and of into the background.

I'd need a photo or two of them walking away from the camera in the same general direction as the bridge angle in the Amen Corner photo, but it's definitely doable.

One of my specialties was grafting photos together.

Full license....The only thing I like, in particular, is a gif with the golfball popped above the rest of the header, similar to how the swoosh is now.

Ah, okay... so essentially the same header, but have the golfball above the header rather than the swoosh...

Is there anything else?

I'll do another rendition and get it posted like you're talking about, then we can go from there, if there's anything else you'd like to try.

Okay, here's the new rendition... pretty much the same as the original, but with the golfball above the heading rather than the swoosh.

I noticed that you were wanting to use a GIF image again, but I'd actually recommend the JPEG version... it's less than half the size and it looks nicer (IMO).

Those on dial-up will thank you.
