Thanks so much Pa. As I stated I am not the best in the world and any info I can get always helps. I will have to pick up a copy of that book. I did get a copy of the book and I cannot remember it at this point that told me all about skins and side bets it was kind of interesting. I will have to get this Bible and read it as well. Thanks again.

As far as getting a ball to spin back, I don't usually try. I more simply use a golf ball that I know will stop on the green, and because I carry 4 wedges I then opt for a club that will usually suit the need for a given situation. From 30-50 yards I could recommend Dave Pelz Short Game Bible and his technique is what I use. Although his writing is very technical and not for everyone. From 50 or 60 yards and out, I usually just rely on the ball and the club loft. With my wedges I usually try to really hit down on the back of the ball and it generates alot of spin and the ball will stop dead. Inside 50 I simply rely on what is mentioned in the short game bible. It does require practice. May want to make a post in the Spin thread or start one of your own. You will likely get alot more info that way.
