Well, the heat didn't bother me, but the incredibly slow and retarded play of the guys I played with from work did. I wont even say how long it took. Searching for balls so far in the shit it was like watching the Kevin Na hole... on numerous occasions. They are friends who don't really play and we were the only ones out there so it wasn't the end of the world, but after a while it was like just drop one and hit it... damn. I've had days where I hit less trees too.

looking forward to the round of golf on Sunday morning - however the weather is nowhere close to what you all experiencing.

Wind coming in at 17mph and temp sitting at 50º F.......nice......

I think this is the 4th day in a row of over 100º+ temps, looking forward to next weeks supposedly cooler 85º weather.
Plus it's been so dry that there are ponds/small lakes that have dried up. I haven't seen them without any water in the 7+ yrs I have lived here.

Filled the bird bath up and it was attacked by the critters, so many of them that you couldn't see the bath anymore.

Met relatives in Sioux City for a long weekend. Played Thursday afternoon in 100+ heat. Played Friday morning. By the time we finished 18, temps were in the upper 90's. Cooled off a bit yesterday, Saturday.
All 4 of us who played work outside. So, we weren't as affected as some. I downed about 80 oz of water playing 18 holes... ice cold water. The 3 others drank quite a bit of beer... a No! No! But, they're old enough to make decisions on their own... later 50's and early 60's. No one got sick. All were tuckered after playing 54 holes in 3 days of pretty wicked temps.

Nice pics for a celly! It's amazing how well the new phones take pics. My wife has a 4s and it blows me away at how nice the pics look. I still rock a dumb phone so I'm easily amused.
