Jason Day has been playing so good lately, it would be tough to bet against him.
I agree. A number of great players have their "A" game on right now. Day has been playing well all year. Bubba, Dustin Johnson, Zach Johnson, Spaith, Dufner... Someone is gonna get hot that weekend and get a Green Jacket.

Augusta requires a putter that is infallible. Woods putter has been extremely balky. There just isn't that confidence that every putt is going in the hole. A putter that wants to upchuck and back spasms that seem to occur when he is out of the competition... I'd have trouble putting much money on him this year. McElroy just contiues to have trouble closing under high stress conditions. This won't be a Masters where a favorite player leads all four rounds and wins going away. It'll be won in the late holes on Sunday afternoon.

It's 5wks out, his back will be fine and his putter is not as balky as everybody thinks.

He could finish too 10 there playing in a wheelchair.

Angel Cabrera always seems to wake up for the majors ... I'll take him.

"5 wks out".... That is somewhere between 30 and 35 times his back is scrunched between the muscular legs of a downhill ski pro. Toss in a Perkins waitress, here and there...
