    Jean Van de Velde.
    Rain.
    Wind.

That about sums it up. :D

  3. Especially Jean Van de Velde! His monumental collapse is always my first thought when I hear "Carnoustie".

That was so hard to watch. Dude just gave away The Open with one bad decision after another. Tin Cup.

The question is, how many times will the meltdown be referenced during TV coverage? I am guessing we will see at least 12 clips of it during US TV coverage through out the live tournament coverage.

  6. There is probably an over/under bet available to be made through the bookies over there

    Edited to correct spelling mistake.

  10. By the way, I shared it with John Cook and he thought it was brilliant too. Very talented guy, the impressions are spot on!

Seeing some drivers off the tees... and lots of irons. Some pretty good scoring from the first wave out. Headed out to play. Will watch it in the clubhouse until tee time and after we're done. Fun tournament... other than being played so early in the morning it's still dark!!!:D

I think smart irons and good putting will see a winner in this one. Although Rahm drove the green with driver on a par 4, the risk is too high to continue to blaze away with the big stick.

I saw last night that the fairways were rolling a 9.5 on the stimpmeter.

Quite a few in the "Challenge" picked Rose... as did I. He could miss the cut. Tied for 70th. I dumped Reed late yesterday. He's also tied for 70th. Just getting back from playing and will be "reclinerized" the remainder of the day watching The Open.

Koepka on his knees trying to get out of a pot bunker. Gets is out just enough for it to roll back in. Now he can stand in the bunker to get out. Doesn't get it out and is still in the bunker. Ouch!!!!! Double bogey.

Fleetwood in the rough on the right. Hits it to the rough on the left.

Not a game for the light-hearted.
