I am not sure where to begin with this, so I will get right to the point.

    THE CREATION IS SIMPLY AMAZING.

I played 9 holes this evening and hit 2 balls off of every tee. Always hitting one with my gamer one with the creation. I also alternated which one went first. I was hitting the ball quite well tonight with all my clubs so I strongly believe my findings were not a fluke.

The creation is freaky long. I mean longer than anything I have ever hit including the odd freak shot you hit from time to time. I hit 4 drives today that were longer than any ball I have ever hit on those holes. One was so far up I actually stopped looking for it because I assumed it took a funny bounce and was lost. It was almost 25 yards further up than normal. I was very surprised to say the least. I am not sure why this shaft is this much longer but it is, and that I have no doubt about.
The ball flight is so cool as well. Quite high, and stays in the air an extraordinarily long time. I am talking "holy shit" long time, yet it hit the ground running every single time. Every shot was nearly identical with it, high, flat, in the air forever, 2-5 yard draws. By the 7th hole the 2 guys I was playing with were both saying they wish they were left handed so they could hit this club. Both have played with me before and were blown away. It was also very accurate, with only one missed fairway and that was less than 5 yards off line.
Feel was nothing special. It felt like every other high end shaft I have hit. Smooth, silky, and controlled. Nothing that stuck out however.
I will be playing again tomorrow morning and will update this after that. So far though I am beyond impressed. This may very well be the best golf purchase I have ever made.

This news is far from surprising.

However, did you think I wouldn't have a backup plan?

Creation inbound as I type this.

    Good review, Lyle.

    65 or 80?

Be prepared to be blown away.

You may want to refrain from using the word "half" until the shaft arrives.

This is sitting here, busted in half. I can only imagine what a whole shaft with a real head on the end will be like.

I have an FT-3 Tour and a Nakashima Htec inbound with the 65S. Dualing banjos.

    Ouch. Low blow. [IMG]

There are few on Fleabay but they are shorties. You make me wish I'd held out on the Burner shaft... or at least sat on my $$ for more than 24hrs. lol.

Played again this morning. Didnt hit the ball overly well with any club. It was very hot and sticky out, and the ill effects of the pail of Gin I drank last night were very evident from the get go. I smelled like a pine scented air freshener and broke a severe sweat putting my glove on and looking for a tee, so I knew I was in deep trouble.
As a result I hit the driver all over the face today and was completely blown away by how much I still got out of it. I hit 2 pop flies today that went 260 yards, and a few hooks that had me checking the scorecard and asking wtf happened. How did this ball get this far down here. As impressed as I was yesterday with this thing distance wise when struck well, I was even more impressed today as I kicked it around for 18. In spite of everything I still managed to hit 1 drive that was a personal best on that particular hole. I crossed a cart path that I have never been within 15 yards of before. I proceeded to hit 4 sand wedges the remaining 102 yards, but hey, what can you do, when you are sweating pure juniper berry juice at an alarming rate.
So all in all I could not be happier with this shaft. It far exceeds my expectations, and they were pretty high from the on set.

Anyone want to buy a couple Accra SC shafts?

Thanks a lot. Now you have me wanting a $400 shaft instead of a $100 shaft. Great. Hiding the VISA bill again.

    Nope. LOL.

I've been waiting to try this thing since day one. I don't know why I didn't just bend over and get one in the first place.

I think the Copper Ion 80g would look real nice in the new BurnerTP 14.5* FW.

I'm reviving this thread to add to it. Recieved my Nakashima Htec driver shafted with the 65g version (silver) Accuflex Creation.

    My gawd....

Look back through all my reviews to date. I think "the next best thing since sliced bread" and "the best shaft I have hit to date" were mentioned a few times. Prehaps ad nauseum.

I'm officially done looking for a shaft. VS Proto gone, Evolution, gone. I just can't believe why I didn't have one of these earlier.

Lyle was extremely bang on with his assessment. This thing just JACKS the ball off the face. It's like it grabs the ball and throws it down the fairway. But the thing that got me the most was how tight the dispersion was with it. I bet the 50 balls I hit were within a 10 yard swath. Just unfricken believeable.

Did I mention this thing was good? Good gawd.

Now, I will throw some thing out that will probably have people sending me hate mail and throw flaming bags of doog shit on my doorstep.

You need to be able to swing with a tempo greater than 105 to hit this shaft properly. I tried laying of a few to "steer" them, and it just wouldn't launch the ball properly. I'd tee up the next one and crush the snot out of it, dead piped, well over 300. (I would say this shaft is 20 yards longer than my VS, no lie). It just won't accept lower swing speeds. Don't think you can finesse this shaft. It won't work.

In terms of feel, it's very similar to the Evolution, but the butt section is twice as stiff. And twice as long. It's sorta weird, the butt extends to the last 18" of the shaft and then tapers to the tip. But it works like a hot damn.

Here's a few comments I had at the range this evening, just to sum things up:

"Accuflex, who the hell is that?"
"Can I borrow a pencil to write down that website?"
"Jesus....the ball just hangs there for 270 and then hits the ground running..."
"Can I hit that thing? I'll give you my car keys as collateral."
"I don't care what it costs, if it makes me hit the ball like that, i'm buying one!"

Obviously, the latter statement was made by an idiot. This shaft is NOT for the faint of heart, IMO. I consider myself a smooth swinging 109mph golfer, with a full shoulder turn and rotation. If you don't fit into this mold, you might find yourself hating this thing.

And what a beauty of a shaft. Just a work of art with that paint scheme.

When my FT-3 shows up (my other ones), I'll have a follow up with an FT-3 matched up with this thing.

I'm getting pretty excited to hit this thing, I may throw up.

Check the classifieds for an FT-3/VS Proto combo shortly thereafter.
