I was impressed in how Anthony Kim dominated his play, with the Europeans later benching Sergio Garcia. The cup is ours for another two years. Great job USA.

I admired his play against Garcia, expecially after he spent the first day carrying Phil on his back.

I think Kim is going to be the next lasting superstar on tour. He has all the tools and now is focused on the prize.

Yeah...AK showed something in terms of mental toughness, and golf-ball-wacking skills that ought to get #1's attention. I predict El Tigre will have some real competition. It'll be fun to watch.

The more I watch AK play, the more I like what I see.

He's already conquered some pretty tough personal demons, so look out world!

    I'll agree!

That guy was worth watching the entire cup. The singles match looked as though he could have smoked just about anyone. What a pleasure it was watching him play.

i really enjoyed watching him stick it to Sergio.

Anybody see when Sergio was consulting with the rules official when AK went over there? To me it seemed like it just ticked AK off and he just put it on him!

Kim is really amazing... and did you notice how he chokes up on the grip of every club, including the driver. And he can bomb it when he wants to. He put on a clinic at Colonial CC in Ft. Worth this year. He decided to swing all out on a few, just to show his reserve power... he flew them out over the range, past a tee box on the other end. An ex-SMU golfer told me he had never seen a drive hit that far on the Colonial range.

No Dave, he is a training bra tit. He is no different that Sergio was when he burst onto the scene. Full of enthusiasm and self belief. He will grow up for sure over the next few years. Or he will develop into a full breast!

Kim really is a great player, i love the way he chokes down on that driver of his, I was doing this all day today and had so much more control.

Garcia in front by 3 at the tour, I would say if he could put like any other top 15 tour pro then he would win most tournaments he enters, next world number one after tiger I hope.

Well, Kim had an interesting round today. I kinda liked it when the commentator said something like, "he hit those last two shots like a 23 year old."

Kim Looks good...but waaay to early to name him the next challenger to Tiger...

Remember same claims/predictions were made about many other "Up and Coming" players like....

Sergio, CHIII, Kuene, Els, Curtis, Ty Tryon, Gore, Badderly, etc....

And as of yet, nothing has changed...everone goes in streaks....theres a good chance Kim's fire may dim before Tiger even returns....

I hope not,,,because I like seeing competitive golf....

These commentators are complete dicks, the are so anti -garcia that it makes it hard to watch. Camillo just holed a putt on 17 and they shout with excitement in their voice "there is a good chance garcia will make bogey"! Idiots.

He chokes, and they have a reason to say that.

I like Garcia, great golfer.. but look at how he did on 18 for the playoff.

    CHOKE!!!!!

And it's not like he had to re-think his game. Mere minutes before, he had played the hole.

Another one for Sergio to add to his (ever expanding) library of great chokes. Didn't get to watch it, but shooting 71 on the last day with a 3 shot lead whilst all the challengers shot under par says it all really. The tee shot on the playoff hole was the icing, but the 71 was the cake that allowed us to once again witness the stupendous choke on the playoff tee from the master.
