Wirehair likes 'em.

I'm not going to bore you with a bunch of stuff about lofts & lies. The short irons are longer & the long irons are shorter than MX-25's or my old 822's.

Today I was 170 to a well guarded green, so I thought I'd lay up with a 7i and chip on to get a bogey. I put a smooth swing on it and caught a clean solid shot. Instead of a 140 yds and a chip, I had a kick in bird. The only other time I did any thing like that was on a Colorado course at 11,000 feet. - They're keepers! :)

Yo WH,

what shaft and flex did you get?

Mav - Stock R-flex graphite. Long irons are still not fully co-operating - but I'm loving the 7-GW. PW is about 115 with a normal swing - GW around 90. I've got a hole at 100 yds.

Have you noticed like a +10 yard gain?

822's PW was my 100 yd club, GW was about 85-90.

Closer to 15 yards on the PW - i figger it's mostly the loft. PW is 1* stronger, GW is the same at 50*, all others are 1/2* stronger.
