Now that the weather is turning cooler and on the verge of cold now. Just wondering if anyone knows what those scarf like face cover you see the European players wearing all the time in the cold...

Not sure. But about five years back at the world match play in Arizona, it was bitterly cold. Kayser wore a face covering type thingy from Black Fly Fishing.

I think if you need one of those, it might be too cold to play.......unless there are millions of $ at stake and you're on TV.

As far as protecting the face from cold wind, you might try something like.... Oh, oh!!! Am I in trouble???

I remember that, actually was exactly what it was I thought of too. They use them as a sun cover fishing as well. I don't know if it's so much about warmth as just a wind/sun covering for your face...

Grab a good hat, some cold weather gloves, and a good sweater. Other than that, GROW A PAIR!

I don't even wear long underwear when I'm hunting till after the highs are below 45ish...and that's just sitting in the tree. I don't think I would ever need long underwear while golfing...too much activity keeping me warm. Maybe if I were a better golfer and I didn't have to swing so many times to complete a round.

Sitting in a tree is waiting, not hunting. Hunting is what we do for our tee shots.........

I have some flannel-lined khakis. Combined with a few thin layers and a windshirt and I can play on a sub-40 degree day as long as the sun is out. My face doesn't get cold - it's too ugly. My hands don't get cold since my blood doesn't circulate that far anymore.

LMAO!! You guys are hilarious! Maybe it's just me? Maybe I am getting old?? I just played yesterday and it was rather windy. I found my face getting cold, and the thought came into my mind of the face coverings I've seen on European Tour coverage, or a motorcyclist wearing...

I also just like to be comfortable when I play. God bless Under Armour!! It was about 10 degrees yesterday, Celsius of course. With the wind it was feeling much cooler
