    We could pull off the Winter Olympics here except for about 90% of the events involving ice or snow.

    Just looked it up, it was actually invented by the Scottish back in the 1500's...so yes, most likely drunk.

    Oh the Scotts, god love’em!! But I as a Canadian will gladly accept the honourable mention. Haha! I’d save the drinking until afterwards however, being unstable on ice... probably not too safe!

    It’s a very fun winter sport, and much like golf, way harder than the pros make it look!!

    My SIL built a regulation Curling rink on his property in Talkeetna, Alaska. He opens it up to travelling leagues and clubs in the winter. I have a pic somewhere - i'll try to find and post it.
