In a 1 QB / 2 RB league that is a correct statement. In a 2 QB / 2 RB league, things are a bit different.

Man did I screw that pick up. I don't know why I picked my QB so late anyway. You NEED good QB's in this system.

"Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son."

Have no fear, I am sure there will be some QB changes in the first few weeks due to injury and/or poor play. Opportunities will arise.

I did the same (leaving my qb;s till late) but I think there are plenty of qb's out there that will start...

also I'd be willing to trade Brodie Coyle for LT

    QB Anyone?

There are a couple real long reaches worth watching if your really QB starved:

Chad Pennington- assuming he's avail in your league has looked good in preseason

Chris Simms- if he get's signed he could land a starting gig and be good

Tavaris Jackson- if he's available he's worth a grab too, he could strat in a larger fantasy league

Brady Quinn- don't be surprised if Derek Anderson faulters, and the hook on him will be quicker than people think. The Browns didn't trade draft picks to go up and get him for no reason. Besides he has looked solid and D.A. is injured and may miss the opener.

Like I said if your reaching, these are some options that could bust out to be starter calibur and surprises of very reasonable note.

Yeah, I was checking the Irish lineup...

Well at least I won't be last!

Oh, I was thinking, why don't we all chip in and get two trophies, one for first place and one for last? You can get them for as cheap as 4 bucks, just football trophies.

Eh, for 4 bucks, I'll just buy the darn things. Goodluck folks!

    Harsh !!!
I got a nicely balanced team, hell I even got some players from different NFL teams...

I'm quietly confident of taking the title over the pond

Question for my fellow FF gurus.

Tony Scheffler was dropped in another league I'm in. It looks like he's been dropped by a lot of FF owners recently. I can't figure this one out, since there's no news, other than the fact that he will be sharing TE time with Nate Jackson, another solid receiving TE threat for the Broncos. I don't see anything that indicates that his foot injury from last year is back.

Why is he being dropped so much? He's a potential stud TE.

I already have a good TE in Kellen Winslow, so I don't need to grab him, but it would be nice to have a solid guy on the bench for Winslow's bye week 4.

I could drop Fred Jackson (who I currently have handcuffing Marshawn Lynch) or Josh Morgan (who I have as a sleeper - Mike Martz calls him the next Torry Holt, but can O' Sullivan get the ball to him?) I could also drop a defense, since I have San Diego and Green Bay (I don't really want to give either one of them up, though.)

    Should I do it?

    Phuqued Again.

Every wonder where the name comes from?
1st round draft pick plays two series and is done for the year.

    Phuqued Again.

Every year I lose my first and/or 2nd round draft pick in the first 6 weeks of the season and it has happened again. Brady. Done.

    Phuqued Again.

Eracer, now you can see my reluctance to part with Cutler last week. :D
I knew it was coming, it was just a matter of when. :real angry:

    I am Phuqued Again.

    I said I was Phuqued, I didn't say I was stupid.

Thankfully, the Florida SP were not on the tollway on the way home from work. I can not see the Fantasy game at work as its blocked and had to race home when my relief showed up so I could grab Cassel before someone else did. :shark:The Si hit VTEC a few times on the way home.

Although no test results had yet to be revealed, one Patriots players went so far as to tell ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer after the game, "Cassel's our quarterback for the rest of the year."

More Patriots mind games. Brady will be back in there before you know it.
