How do you PB&J?

Has to be: Arnold 12 Grain bread, JIF extra crunchy on 1 slice, Smuckers Grape No Sugar Added on the other. Nothing else is really a PB&J.

I use multi grain bread (as many grains as I can buy), Skippy Creamy PB and Costco raspberry preserves, double helping on both slices. It rocks!

Bread doesn't matter to me...could be white as @PaPaD or 87bazillion grain although I prefer wheat of some sort.

Jam: I make my own strawberry jam, and it's fantastic.
Peanut Butter: Skippy Natural Super Chunk

Put as much as humanly possible. Peanut butter on one side and Jam on the other. If the jam isn't oozing out and about running down your elbows, you didn't use nearly enough.


If you eat creamy peanut butter, you're wrong and you should feel bad.

If it's actually PB&J, some cheap grape jelly on the other slice. But... seldom PB&J.

Usually, it's Kroger smooth PB on one slice and butter on the other. Yep! PB&B.

Of course, if the wife has any bananas around, I still eat quite a few PB & banana sandwiches. That was Elvis Presley's favorite and mine!!!

I though everyone dreamed of passing away while sitting on the toilet, trying to poop. Guess if he would have used lots of jelly instead of a banana, maybe he wouldn't have had to strain so much it stopped his heart.

I want to go out peacefully, like my Grandpa, not screaming like the passengers in the car he was driving. I never saw him eat a PB&J, though.

Any bread will do but I prefer multigrain bread. PB on both sides with grape or raspberry jam on one piece. There is NOTHING better than a PB&J sammich during a hike, unless you count the cold beers at the end!

"Potato" sandwiches bring back memories. When pregnant with out first, my wife craved potato chip/dill pickle sandwiches. She would eat them daily. Potato chips and dill pickle slices between two pieces of bread.
